Do you like to be appreciated? One way I show my customers how much I appreciate them is with a hand-stamped thank you card when they place their Stampin' Up! orders with me. The order can be in online, over the phone or in person.
For my January 2012 customer thank you cards, I am using the new Bordering on Romance stamp set and Labels Collection Framelits from the 2012 Stampin' Up! Occasions Mini Catalog. In my video, I demonstrate how to use the the Labels Collection Framelits Dies.
Aren't the Framelits cool? They are the Big Shot equivalent of being able to stamp and then punch out. Love them!
Here is a close-up view of my Bordering on Romance greeting card.
Using the Stampin' Pastels to color in the flowers was pleasantly quick as I made a lot of these cards. The Stampin' Pastels apply so smoothly and blend easily. And, if you go outside the line without meaning to, you can use the included eraser! We all know you can not do that with ink.
My card base is Pink Pirouette card stock. I thought I would use Pretty in Pink card stock, but the flowers just popped out when layered onto the Pink Pirouette.
The largest die-cut label is Early Espresso Card Stock. Followed by a layer of Pretty in Pink die-cut. Pink and brown is such a pretty combination.
Keeping with the pink and brown combination, my flowers from the Bordering on Romance stamp set were stamped with Early Espresso Classic Ink. Because the Stampin' Pastels were used to color my flowers, I did not need to be concerned about the non-permanent Early Espresso Classic Ink bleeding.
