Okay enough explanation and build up, let's have a look at my handmade greeting card with the limited-edition Sale-a-bration products.
Worth a bit of a build up, don't you think? It all started in wanting to use the Blossom Punch from the Stampin' Up! 2012 Occasions Mini Catalog with the two different patterns of Calypso Coral and Pool Party colors of the Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper. The Blossom Punch is one very pretty punch. Well, the flowers it punches out are pretty.
For my flower centers, I stayed with the same two different patterns of background paper, alternating them with smaller punched flowers. The smaller punched flowers were made with the Boho Blossoms Punch. The Boho Blossoms Punch includes three flowers in just one punch.
The finishing touch for my flowers are the pretty brads from the coordinating Everyday Enchantment Ribbon/Brad Pack. Matchy, matchy just thrills me. While I love the ease of the coordination, I particularly love the clean look it provides.
Along the left side of my handmade greeting card, I stamped the border stamp from the Fresh Vintage stamp set with Calypso Coral Classic Stampin' Pad. I will tell on myself, I had to stamp twice to make it across the length of the card. My two border images did not line up exactly. But, my flower in the center covered the uneven row. No one would have been the wiser if I had kept that to myself.
In the center of the stamped border, I tied the Calypso Coral Ribbon from the Everyday Enchantment Ribbon/Brad Pack. How fun is it with the ribbon and brads being from the same FREE Sale-a-bration item? Not just one roll of ribbon, but two PLUS exclusive brads.
Like I wrote earlier in the post, my greeting is from the Sprinkled Expressions stamp set. That greeting, "You make my whole face smile" is my absolute favorite stamp from the set. At least two of my customers chose it for one of their FREE Sale-a-bration products for that stamp alone.
