Stampin’ Up! Serene Silhouettes Hand Stamped Greeting Card

A Godby (God-be) With Us Stamper made this very pretty Stampin’ Up! Serene Silhouettes hand stamped greeting card.  Serene Silhouettes is new to the 2012-2013 Stampin’ Up! Catalog.

Look at how pretty the flowers are colored with the Wild Wasabi and Perfect Plum Stampin’ Write Markers.  Even though part of the name of the stamp set is silhouette, don’t you like the flowers stamped in the two colors?  Later I will be sharing more cards Sheri made with this stamp set and they are in silhouette.  Nice to know both look good.

A closer view of the two-color stamped flowers and ground cover.  The subtle colors stand out against the Whisper White Card Stock.

A touch of decoration was added with Whisper White Baker’s Twine wrapped several times around the left side and finished off with a bow.  Nice, delicate embellishment that ties easily into a bow.

The “just for you” stamp is from the Stampin’ Up! Just Believe stamp set.  Sherrie stamped it with Perfect Plum on Wild Wasabi Card Stock, punched it out with the Word Window Punch and then layered it onto a piece of Perfect Plum Card Stock punched out with the Modern Label Punch.

For the right side of the card, Sherrie gave a pretty lace edge with the now retired Eyelet Border Punch.  Look how the punched scallops of the Perfect Plum Card Stock are nestled in between the Scallops of the punched Wild Wasabi Card Stock.
