Three layers of Stippled Blossoms for a hand made, vintage greeting card. What a cool effect this is! Reminds me of the framed pictures in which the matting is also part of the picture. I have always found those to be eye-catching.

The Stippled Blossoms is a new stamp set offered in the 2012-2013 Stampin' Up! Catalog. It was one of my very favorite new stamp sets. Road to Happiness was another. For the Birds ranked up there too. Oh! And, Take Care. So far, the only cards I have made with For the Birds and Take Care are exclusive for my subscribers to my Hassle-Free Cards. Being my all-time favorite new stamp set, Stippled Blossoms has also been used for my Hassle-Free Cards. Can't show them off here . . .

Back to the Stippled Blossoms card I can show up (pictured above). Wanting to maintain a vintage look and feel to my hand made card, I started by using Very Vanilla Card Stock. The warm vanilla color was just perfect.

The two-step roses, one stamp is the fill with the other the detail to make up the two steps, were stamped with the new 2012-2013 In Colors Primrose Petals and Raspberry Ripple. Primrose Petals is a dusty rose. How perfect is that for vintage roses!

The new In Colors has coordinating ribbon. It is a stitched satin ribbon. Soft and silky. But, the white stitching was not working for me for my vintage card. Wanting vintage, the 7/8" Natural Cotton Ribbon from the 2012 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog was the perfect enhancement for my card not just because it has the right look, but it is designed to be stamped on!

My ribbon coordinates with the a smaller flower from the same stamp set was stamped with the Primrose Petals Classic Stampin' Pad! Imagine what you would have to pay for custom ribbon. Now you can make your own!
