Clean and simple Christmas / Winter cards with Stampin' Up! single Bold Snowflake stamp.  Yesterday I promised a couple of variations of the simply Snow Flurry Bigz Die card I posted.  Same basic card substituting the Snow Flurry Bigz Die die-cut snowflakes with the Bold Snowflake stamped and punched.   Perfect for anyone who does not yet own a die-cutting machine.

The Bold Snowflake stamp is a limited-edition single stamp that is not part of any Stampin' Up! stamp set and available for purchase only through January 2, 2013.

While the stamp is limited-edition, the punch used to punch out the snowflake is not.  Are you ready for this?  It perfectly punches out with the Blossom Punch!  A flower punch for snowflakes.  This is something you simply have to see for yourself and can right below.

Plenty of white space in the border and in between for the stamped and punched snowflake to pop off the card.  Like in yesterday's card, the "Christmas cheer" is embossed in white.

The Stampin' Up! Blossom Punch is so perfect for the Bold Snowflake single stamp you do not begin to think flower punch.  How much do we love that Stampin' Up! designed it so it did not require a limited-edition punch too?

What if you could make the bold and simple snowflake card even quicker but keeping the same basic template?  The second card idea is quicker and even less expensive for those who do not yet own a Heat Tool to emboss the greeting in white.  Have a look.

Same Sweet Essentials greeting stamp set, different stamp from it so it can be used for virtually any winter occasion.   It is not often you would find yourself using a flower punch on a masculine card.  This may be the only time. :)

It must be admitted that this card turned out even better than I had envisioned.  Simply stunning with the white on white on white.  You could just stamp the snowflake with Night of Navy Classic Stampin' Pad ink.  But after seeing it stamped, punches and given a little lift with the Stampin' Dimensionals, could you just stamp it?

The secret is the use of plenty Stampin' Dimensionals not just for the snowflake but for the 3-1/2" x 4-3/4" Whisper White Card Stock layer. Many more than just one in each corner for the obvious height between that layer and the Whisper White Card Stock base.

When you make this card, you can keep it clean and simple, as shown.  Or, you can certainly glitz it up with some Dazzling Diamonds Stampin' Glitter or Dazzling Details.  Perhaps a Basic Rhinestone Jewel or Basic Pearl Jewel in the center.  Even a Regals Designer Button.  Many possibilities.   Personally, I am drawn to it as is.

In order to make this card, you absolutely need to have the Bold Snowflake single stamp first.  How do you get your hands on one?  Order it now in my online store now!  Remember you must order it by the January 2, 2013 deadline.
