Use the gorgeous tulips of the Stampin’ Up! Blessed Easter Stamp can take your cardmaking beyond Easter. A simple change of greetings was all that was required to turn this into a spring stamp instead of strictly an Easter stamp.
Looking at this card, are you seeing a flower bed full of tulips in bloom? In some regions, many are enjoying them now. Some already for a length of time. The green of Gumball Green was the perfect green for my spring card. It was an immediate favorite when introduced as a new 2012-2014 In Color. Those two years have flown by, and now Gumball Green will be leaving us. Many hope it will one day become one of the core Stampin’ Up! colors. Because of a promise from Stampin’ Up! to only revamp the core colors every three to five years, the possibility of seeing Gumball Green returning is at least two years away. If you love Gumball Green, I highly recommend you order the ink refill now and stock up on card stock. Ink refills and card stock of the 2012-2014 In Colors will most likely be among the first retiring accessories to sell out.
Like my little notch for my Gumball Green Stitched Satin Ribbon? It allowed my to use the pretty ribbon without needing to trim the tulips layer or have ribbon hanging over the edge making it impossible to fit into a standard medium envelope. What is great is that it was functional and a beautiful touch.
For our little something-something inside, the tulips are peeking up from the corner stamped in Daffodil Delight Classic Stampin’ Pad ink. Sweet.
