Default It doesn’t happen often, but every once in awhile I receive notification of a Stampin’ Up! order placed in my online store that reads No Contact. When that happens, it means the customer that chose me as his/her Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator will not receive

  • my handmade thank you cards
  • earn free shipping with my exclusive Online Ordering Oasis rewards progam
  • free Stampin’ Up! catalogs
  • and other perks of being one of my valued customers

When and order is received as No Contact, I am provided with no information other than the order number and what was ordered. I always feel sorry that my customer is not going to receive my excellent customer service.

A couple of weeks ago I talked with one former No Contact customer. She went into her account and checked the box to allow me to contact her. When I called to see if she wanted the new 2015-2016 Stampin’ Up! Catalog, she said she had wondered why she never received any thank you cards I say I send when orders are placed with me. We were both so happy she went into her account in my online store and checked the box to allow contact from me!

Within a day, another former No Contact customer checked the Yes box too. Jill (UT) has since been enjoying the benefits of being one of my customers. She wrote

“I really appreciate your personal service. Thanks again.”

A fellow demonstrator and friend says she thinks some choose not to be contacted because they think they will be bugged to host a Stampin’ Up! party or hounded to join Stampin’ Up! as a demonstrator. I can’t speak for anyone else but myself, but I use that information in regards to the orders placed. This evening I created a new account. Despite going directly to my online store, I saw that the No box was checked by default. Rut-ro.

Let’s fix that. Here’s how find the page within your online account to change it to an excited Yes!

1. Click on My Account in the upper right corner after logged into your online Stampin’ Up! account.

My Stampin' Up! Account with Shelly Godby

2. Click on My Demonstrator. Check the Yes box for Allow my demonstrator to contact me with order updates and other important information.

Select Shelly Godby as your Stampin' Up! Demonstrator!3.  Be sure to click on Save Changes when done.

It’s up to you if you want to receive emails from Stampin’ Up! about specials, etc.

For all that chose my as their Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator when shopping online for cardmaking and papercrafting supplies – Thank You!

Please chose to allow me to contact you so I can properly thank you with a handmade thank you card.

Stamping Smiles,
