An uplifting birthday card with Celebrate Today

Give your handmade birthday cards a lift with the Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Today Stamp Set. Balloons are always a festive way to celebrate.

Celebrate Today lets you easily turn a balloon into a hot air balloon. Look how fantastic the hot air balloon looks floating in the clouds.

The clouds were made with two different punches – the Cupcake Builder Punch for the small cloud and the Tree Builder Punch for the larger clouds.

All the stamps used on my handmade birthday card are included in the set. There are 17 stamps in all. A lot more occasions to celebrate and card designs to be made.

How about that bright, cheery green used for the balloon? It’s Cucumber Crush from the 2015-2017 In Colors.

The green striped paper is also in Cucumber Crush and is from the 2015-2017 In Color Designer Series Paper Stack. The coordinating Stampin’ Up! color products sure make it easy to create fabulous looking handmade cards.

The color coordination continues with the ribbon wrapped around the bottom right corner is the Daffodil Delight 1/4″ Cotton Ribbon. It coordinates with the Daffodil Delight ink used for the basket and Daffodil Delight Cardstock partially framing the Whisper White layer.

The blue button is Island Indigo from the Brights Designer Buttons and coordinates with the ink used for the flags and Island Indigo Cardstock card base.
