A card idea for the underrated Botanical Gardens Vellum

Some of you have shared with me that you aren’t overjoyed with the Sale-a-bration Botanical Gardens Designer Vellum Stack. Looking at just the picture of it in the catalog and the one and only sample, I get it. Wanting you to see just how pretty it is, I have for you a card idea for the underrated Botanical Gardens Designer Vellum.

I created an easy card for you in my fast, yet still fabulous, card style.It wasn’t used as a subtle accent for my card, it is the card! My first thought was to create a die-cut window for one of the white printed patterns to show through. The front of a 4-1/4″ x 11″ Mossy Meadow Cardstock were die-cut with the two large leaf dies from the Botanical Builder Framelits Dies.

Place the Framelits Dies as desired then run through your Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine.

Save the die-cut leaves for another project. Cut your 6″ x 6″ Botanical Gardens Designer Vellum Paper to 4″ x 5-1/4″ and adhere to the opposite side with Fast Fuse. Apply adhesive close to the die-cut windows for a snug fit.

Depth really dresses up a handmade card. So I decided to die-cut the flowers from the Botanical Builders Framelits Dies out of the same pattern of vellum. Not just the same pattern but from the remaining 2″ x 6″ strip!

There are 24 sheets of 6″ x 6″ Botanical Gardens Designer Vellum in the pack. That means you can make 24 fast and fabulous cards from it!
