On the original card design the ribbon was all the way to the bottom of the card. It look a bit odd, not quite the look I was hoping for. The half circle taken out of the bottom didn’t affect the look of the stamped background and allowed the card to be stepped up with ribbon and a pretty bow. Exactly what I wanted. 🙂
It would be a lot of fun to try a variety of other colors to see what creative backgrounds you could make! Shades of blue, green or pink would look good with both the deep Basic Black or Early Espresso inks.
