Crafters don’t lie. They embellish. This cracks me up! And embellish I did for a handmade card worthy of the saying.
Snazzy as it is, it’s quite simple to make. Let’s break it down. The too stinkin’ funny saying was inked with Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo and Basic Gray Stampin’ Write Markers and stamped on Whisper White Cardstock then die-cut in my Big Shot with Lots of Labels Framelits Dies. The shape of the die-cut was the perfect length and width leaving room for a little added bling of the Iced Rhinestone Embellishments.
Behind our humorous greeting is a piece of Have a Cuppa Designer Series Paper Stack. The subtle Bermuda Bay printed paper on Bermuda Bay Cardstock card base is attractive while still allowing the humorous greeting shine.
The same is true with the 1/8″ Bermuda Bay Stitched Ribbon. Pretty touch without stealing the show.
The half Tea Lace Paper Doily wasn’t part of the initial card design. You like? It just felt right, providing the finishing touch.
