Do you have washi tape that wanders off?

What do you do to keep your coordinating Designer Washi Tape rolls organized? Do you stack them on a shelf like me? Only to knock them over or off the shelf? Hoping to find the ones that wandered away? If you have washi tape that wanders off, keep reading!

The solution to wandering washi tape is as easy as it is brilliant. Keep them organized and from wandering off by slipping the coordinating rolls on a 2″ hinged ring (or book ring).

Stampin’ Up! designed the washi tape patterns and colors to coordinate. Won’t that be nice having them together and prevented from wandering
off?

Now that I had my high tech 🙂 new organizer rings, what’s the one thing that would make it perfect? Knowing the washi tape colors. I made tags for each set of Designer Washi Tapes. No more going back to the Stampin’ Up! Catalog to look up the colors!

I printed a sheet including the name and colors.Then used my Stampin’ Trimmer to cut the columns down to 2″ each. To make it easy, I printed a solid line. The solid line is just inside the cutting track and will be trimmed off for a more attractive looking tag.

After the first cut, I turned the cardstock 180 degrees, lined up on the 2″ mark and cut again.

The middle row has two solid lines to use as a cutting guide. Place the solid line barely inside the cutting track. For the third row, cut like you did for the first row, using the solid line as your cutting guide for the right edge then turning 180 degrees and measuring to 2″ on the Stampin’ Trimmer.

The cardstock was cut to 2″ to fit into the Ornate Tag Topper Punch.

I spaced the Designer Washi Tape names and colors list so that after trimming at 2″ the next tag was ready to be punched without any additional cutting required.
