If you make birthday cards for those who like 
flowers, take a look at my hand stamped birthday card made with the new the Big on Birthdays Stamp Set from the 2017 Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalog.
The flowers crowning the big Happy Birthday were watercolored with Mint Macaron and Wisteria Wonder. Then a few more were stamped, hand-trimmed and adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The card was quite pretty before adding the individual popped-up flowers, but they sure did enhance my handmade card.
My color combination started with the desire to use Mint Macaron. After sitting there for a few moments trying to decide on what other colors to use, I consulted my 2015-2017 In Color Combinations e-book. It has ten 3-color combinations for each of the five 2015-2017 In Colors for a total of 50 custom color combinations. I chose the Mint Macaron / Wisteria Wonder / Soft Suede combination. Simply perfect for how I had my card pictured in my mind. You can order the fifty 3-color combinations e-book here if you’d like to have this color resource too.
The flowers were watercolored in Wisteria Wonder without the Soft Suede outline bleeding. Do you know how I managed that? Easy. I embossed the Soft Suede outline image first. You will find a video demonstrating the technique here.
