Stampin’ Up! You’re Inspiring Easter Card Idea

What flowers first come to mind for Easter cards? Tulips and daffodils top the list. My Easter card idea was made with the Stampin’ Up! You’re Inspiring Stamp Set.

The daffodils pop off the page with their deep, vibrant colors. That was achieved by coloring with Stampin’ Blends Markers. The alcohol markers glide over the cardstock and make shading a breeze.

The daffodil on the left not only pops off the page, it has also burst out of the frame. 

Look closely at the daffodils to see a dew drop on each. The are Glitter & Clear Epoxy Shapes from the 2018 Stampin Up! Occasions Catalog. One of those nice little touches to make handmade greeting cards extra special.

When popping up an image, like my daffodil partially on the die-cut frame, color the image below too. It’s then much more attractive when your handmade greeting cards are viewed at an angle. 

The frame was made using two sets of Framelits Dies, the Layering Ovals and Lots of Labels Framelits Dies. You can watch my how to use Framelits Dies to make frames for your handmade cards video tutorial HERE.

The You’re Inspiring Stamp Set is also from the Occasions Catalog. If asked if I thought the stamp set would be available in the 2018-2019 Stampin’ Up! Catalog, my answer would be “no” because specific season stamp sets in the Occasions Catalogs rarely make it. Like it? I recommend ordering it while it’s still available.
