For many, many years, we used Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder for the diamond dust technique on our handmade cards. Then, Stampin’ Up! retired it. I have good news, I’m going to show you how to make your own and how the technique is done with the Stampin’ Up! Abstract Impressions card.

Making your own Iridescent Ice Embossing Power is quite easy to make now that you know the proportions.Use glitter all over your handmade cards without the mess with the diamond dust technique. The outcome is dazzling!
It’s highly unusual for me to use a ribbon that isn’t one of the colors of the ink or cardstock. The Poppy Parade 1/2″ Textured Weave Ribbon looks good with the mix of warm Terracotta Tile and Lovely Lipstick Classic Stampin’ Pads ink for the large flowers.
