Does anyone else find the handmade card samples in the Stampin’ Up! catalogs so captivating that you can’t help but recreate them? This Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Evergreens card is the perfect example, capturing a beautiful balance of simplicity and elegance.
The Card-Making Process
The white lettering on the Cherry Cobbler die-cut banner (from the Peaceful Season Bundle) truly makes this DIY Christmas card pop. It beautifully contrasts with the soft evergreen trees and the warm, olive-toned “Christmas.” It’s a perfect example of understated elegance.
The Embossing Additions Tool Kit is an absolute must-have for embossing projects. The tray neatly collects any excess powder to funnel back into the jar, while the Embossing Buddy ensures that the powder only adheres to your stamped image—not your fingerprints! With the cool-tipped tweezers, you can safely hold your elements while using the Heat Tool, making your embossing process smooth and efficient for crafting stunning cards.

Stamping the Images:
- Start by stamping the evergreen tree stand using Crumb Cake Classic Stampin’ Pad ink.
- Next, position the Cherry Cobbler die-cut banner on your card to decide the perfect spot for stamping “Christmas.”
- Finally, stamp “Christmas” in Old Olive Classic Stampin’ Pad ink, ensuring it aligns beautifully with the banner.

Adhering the Elements
Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals are a must-have for your crafting kit. Their small size is ideal when a regular Stampin’ Dimensional is too big for the job. Sure, you could trim the larger ones, but why bother when minis make things so much easier and more efficient?

For adhering the larger Very Vanilla Cardstock layer to the Crumb Cake Cardstock card base, full-size Stampin’ Dimensionals are the perfect choice to ensure secure, even placement.

The Finishing Touch
To complete the look, I added three Gold-Textured Adhesive-Backed Dots in the trees and by the banner for a touch of golden goodness. These dots add just the right amount of shine to enhance the elegant design of the card without overpowering the clean and simple aesthetic.

The Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Evergreens Stamp Set is from the September-December 2024 Mini Catalog. Will this be the stamp set for your handmade Christmas cards this year or another? See the full collection HERE to make your selection available in my online store.
