Two handmade Nativity Christmas cards using the A Child Is Born Stamp Set from Stampin’ Up!®—one in Crumb Cake and gold, one in Night of Navy and silver—showing the same layout in two different color palettes.

During a Tuesday night live stream, I shared a clean and meaningful Nativity card design made with the A Child Is Born Stamp Set from Stampin’ Up!® — and then showed how the very same layout can take on two completely different looks with a simple change in colors.

I began with a Crumb Cake version, using warm tones and gold accents for a soft, traditional feel. It was the card I demonstrated live, and we explored it three ways: no coloring, a little coloring, and full coloring for those who love stepping things up. The design stayed the same, but each variation created a new mood while keeping the focus where it belongs — the holy scene.

Then I shared a second idea inspired by a friend’s Christmas cards: a Night of Navy and Silver Foil version. Same layout. Same stamp set. But the cool tones and metallic silver gave it a classic, peaceful elegance. It’s always amazing how a color palette can completely transform a card.
