The Soft Summer stamp set took my breath away.  But, like I have always said, you cannot have too many flower or sayings stamp sets.  And this set has both!  It just doesn't get any better.

I used the Aqua Painter and Classic Ink Pads to watercolor my flower.  To get deeper colors, I added a couple drops of Classic Ink Refill to the lid of my stamp pads.  I then squeeze a bit of water from my Aqua Painter to dilute the color.  Then I watercolor to my heart's content.

Another bonus is I spend less time smooshing the pads to get the color on the lid.  And because the ink refill is the same color of the pad, I do not care if any drips onto the ink pad.  I guess you could say my stamp pads are self-inking!

My colors are Certainly Celery (did you know that is my favorite Stampin' Up! color?  You never know when that question may show up in a Stampin' Smiles trivia quiz), Regal Rose, So Saffron and Close to Cocoa.

The Eyelet Border Punch sure dressed this card up.  But, wait, it still need a bit more.  Out came the Stampin' Up! Backgrounds I Texturz Plates.  After running my card stock through the Big Shot, I used a Stamping Sponge to rub a bit of color on the front of my card.  That made the embossed Flourishes design pop off the page.
