This was the only page that came together quickly for me. Using my favorite type of stamp images, flowers, and my favorite color combination, Regal Rose and Certainly Celery, is always a winning combination for me.
The stamp set used to create this pretty page is Flower Fancy by Stampin' Up! Flower Fancy is a two-step stamp set. There are two stamps to complete the flower image – a solid and an outline stamp. The same with the leaves. The detail stamp image is stamped directly over the solid stamp image. The easiest way to line up one stamp image over the other is with the Stamp-a-ma-jig, a wonderful stamp positioning tool.
The great part of two-step stamps is you get a lot of detail, can use a different color for the solid and detail stamps, all with so little effort.
Another feature is you can use just the solid or outline stamps alone. Using the outline stamp images gives the opportunity to then color them in with sponges, watercoloring, pastels or markers.
The pretty border was made with the Eyelet Border Punch and Certainly Celery card stock. My flower border reminds me of a pretty valance.
