It is sad the Forget-Me-Not Keepers are on the Last Chance Accessories List. I purchased my first one to hold my new Stampin' Up! clear mounts. Impressed with the high quality of the box, I showed my ladies and asked if they would like to decorate one for their cards. They were all enthusiastic about the class.
Now that I had the brilliant idea to decorate it (I have heard of demos lining the insides with designer paper), I had the challenge of just how I was going to decorate it.
One of my gals reminded me we had decorated the Flower Fusion tins with felt flowers. Thanks to that reminder, my mind started thinking about my Big Shot and felt. I purchased the Daisies Bigz Die. The Black-Eyed Susans were not yet a thought.
A friend was heading off to the big city, Mt. Pleasant. Okay, big compared to our little town of 2500. I asked if she would go to a fabric store for me to look for felt. She did. Sweet friend. She called to tell what colors they had. Black Eyed Susans jumped into my head when she mentioned yellow. Loved the idea! Yellow should go in just about any room, as opposed to red or pink or purple.
Didn't it turn out pretty? I moved the flowers around 100 times (okay, maybe a little less than that) before I settled on my design.
