Do you love candy canes? It is the single most candy that makes you think of Christmas. They are irresistible. For a calorie-free candy cane, the Stampin' Up! Candy Cane Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper and Rub-Ons from the Holiday Mini Catalog are a real treat!
As part of my Candy Cane Christmas Class in Your Mailbox, I simply had to use a candy cane. Talk about a sweet treat!
Stampin' Up! rub-ons are a lot of fun to use. It is a lot of fun when the design almost magically appear on card stock, glass, candles or anywhere else your imagination takes you.
How to use rub-ons:
- Cut the desired rub-on image from the sheet. Do not skip this step. Trying to apply rub-on from the entire sheet will make it harder to place and you may accidentally start rubbing on another image.
- Remove the rub-on backing.
- Place the rub-on on your project.
- Use the enclosed popsicle stick to rub over the entire image.
- Carefully lift one corner. If the rub-on is not sticking to your project, replace and rub with the popsicle stick again.
- Try again, lift off slowly. When you remove it slowly, you can always let it lay back in place and rub some more.
They are easy and fun to use! My favorite feature of the rub-ons are how they show up on colored card stock!
