We all make projects we like, but do you ever make something you know someone will go nuts over? When I made this September calendar page I knew my friend Molly would love it because her son absolutely loves John Deere tractors. Her reaction was every bit of what I expected.
The big wheel was run twice through the Sizzix Big Shot with the Scallop Circle #2 Bigz Die. The first time to get the scallop circle. The second time I placed the scallop circle on the die so it would cut each scallop in the middle. Cool effect.
The sky was sponged with my Scallop Circle Punch cloud stencil.
My wheat is from the Autumn Days stamp set. I just love it when something turns out like I had it pictured in my head. That is surely not always the case. The tractor driving over the wheat was the finishing touch the calendar page needed. The tractor is very cool, but . . .
