Do you ever find yourself adding layer after layer? It is trick or technique I often use when I want to use a small stamp as the focal point on the card. In this case, it was the "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" stamp from the FREE 2011 Stampin' Up! Sale-a-bration limited-edition Punch Bunch stamp set.
The "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" stamp was stamped with Pacific Point Classic Ink on Whisper White card stock. I cut it out by hand and layered it onto a Scallop Square piece of Daffodil Delight card stock punched out with the Scallop Square Punch.
From there I just kept adding layers, alternating between Pacific Point and Daffodil Delight card stock, up to the final piece of the scallop edged piece of Daffodil Delight card stock. The large scallop square of Daffodil Delight card stock was die-cut with the Sizzix Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine and exclusive Stampin' Up! Scallop Square Duo Sizzix Bigz Die.
