Did you notice the adorable baby stamp in the FREE Sale-a-bration Punch Bunch stamp set? It is so sweet with the duck mobile. And, it punches out perfectly with the Large Tag Punch. Love the Stampin' Up! punches!
As much as I love the Stampin' Up! punches, I love layers. How thrilled I am to be able to layer the Large Tag Punch with the Extra Large Tag Punch! Punches make card making fun and fast! I don't know about you, I like to make my own cards, but gone are the days I want to spend hours making just one. My goal: fast yet still fabulous!
The Daffodil Delight is my favorite of the five never-seen-before-colors introduced to Stampin' Up!'s exclusive Color Collections. It is bright and cheery without being overly bright. So pretty! I find myself grabbing for it instead of So Saffron. Never thought that would happen.
Anyway, my polka dot designer paper used on the left side of the card is from the Brights Patterns Series Paper Pack, specifically, the Daffodil Delight. It is such a pretty combination with Old Olive.
Because I had been making cards using the Ice Cream Parlor colors combination, Melon Mambo, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Pacific Point and Pumpkin Pie, I naturally grabbed the Pacific Point Stampin' Write Marker for the "welcome baby" and dotted border of the stamp.
My cute layered tag needed some ribbon. How sweet is the 1/8" Daffodil Delight Taffeta Ribbon? I folded the ribbon piece in half and attached it with an ordinary staple. I guess it is because I feel like a kid in a candy store when in an office supply store that I love the look.
As I am sure I have stated before, I do not particularly care for a naked edge when adding designer series paper to my projects. It is just another one of my issues. So, to avoid the naked edge, I added an Old Olive card stock strip punched with Eyelet Border Punch. I particularly like the like color on like color for a soft look.
