Last year I made a very similar card with the Stampin' Up! Circle Circus stamp set. Since then, the To the Nines Specialty Designer Series Paper has retired. But, to make the card now is an easy adjustment since both Chocolate Chip and Always Artichoke exclusive Stampin' Up! colors had not retired.
Kathy Ayers hand stamped the card pictured above. To stretch Kathy's stamping budget as far as possible, I made the suggestion of a couple of changes from the original card to use the supplies she was already purchasing to make another masculine card with Nature Silhouettes.
The changes were quite simple. The original card stock base was switched from Always Artichoke to Early Espresso. My Chocolate Chip 1/2" card stock strip was switched to Always Artichoke for Kathy's card. The reason for this change was so she could use the Neutrals Patterns Designer Series Paper Stack for the other card.
Of course, you could take this rubber stamped card idea and change it up with a completely different color scheme. Another masculine color combination (from the Color Coach) is Baja Breeze, Cajun Craze and Basic Gray. I might just have to give it a try.
An inky thanks to Kathy for emailing a picture of her card!
