Do you take joy sending homemade Christmas cards?  Do your friends and family look forward every year to receiving your hand made Christmas card?   I designed this card wih the now retiring Stampin' Up! A Cardinal Christmas stamp set for rubberstampers who like the pretty stamp set but do not particularly care for water coloring.

A_Cardinal_Christmas

This is an easy stamping technique.  First you mist either your card stock or inked stamp with water and then stamp with a Real Red Classic Stampin' Pad.  If you like your images lined up, I recommend the Stamp-a-ma-jig for the second step in the technique.  Clean your rubber stamp and ink again with Basic Black Classic Ink.  It is permanent ink and will not run like the Real Red ink did.  Stamp over the washed out stamped image.

You have added some color quickly and easily.  Very cool look!

If you would like to use the Stampin' Up! A Cardinal Christmas stamp set for your Christmas cards you can order now in my online store.  But, remember you only have until June 30, 2011 before A Cardinal Christmas is no longer available to purchase.
