Do you only think of fall paper projects when you look at the limited-edition Spice Cake Designer Series Paper?   The flowers on one of the pattern sheets inspired me to do something other than fall.

I love how they flowers coordinate with the 5-Petal Flower Punch and Fancy Flower Punch.  It was easy to cut out the three flowers.  Have a look.

Both of the flowers are smaller than the punch so they layer nicely onto a coordinating piece of card stock.

Did you notice the little circles between the flowers?  The circles were punched out with the 1/2" Circle Punch and layered onto a Soft Suede circle punched with the 3/4" Circle Punch.  Here is a close up view of this small, almost hidden, added touch.

Soft Suede, More Mustard, Pear Pizzazz, Very Vanilla and Pool Party are the colors used in the Spice Cake Designer Series Paper.   So far, what you've seen of my card, it is looking rather like another fall card.  Have a look when the strip you see is layered onto Pool Party card stock.

Big difference!  Don't you like how the base of the card brings out the blue in the flowers?  And, to jazz it up my handmade card I embossed it with the Houndstooth Embossing Folder
