2012 Stampin' Up! Catalog Sneak Peek! Hand stamped Perfectly Perserved card for the participants of the Stamping Smiles Holiday Catalog Designer Series Paper & Ribbon Share!
What is your first memory of canning jars? In your grandmother's kitchen? Or your mother's? Can you recall a summer where the kitchen wasn't filled with fruits and vegetables waiting to be peeled, stewed, cut and ready for the jars?
And, how about the water baths? And your mother counting all the little pings to know each jar sealed properly? Now those are sounds of summer!
The soon-to-be released (August 1, 2012!) Perfectly Perserved stamp set from the 2012 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog is in the autumn section of the seasonal catalog. But it is far from being an autumn-only stamp set. Especially paired with a summerful patterned paper.
What a delightful discovery of how the flowers on this background paper from the Floral District Designer Series Paper coordinate with the flower from the Perfectly Perserved stamp set.
See how the lines in the stamped flower are like the lined flowers on the designer paper. Coincidence? I think not. Perhaps just an observant eye.
Wouldn't it be cool if the Perfectly Perserved stamp set has a set of coordinating Framelits? How about that? It does! The coordinating Framelits are the Cannery Set. Did you happen to notice how perfectly cut my flowers are? I'm good but not necessarily that good. Certainly not as fast as die-cutting them through a Big Shot Die-Cut Machine is.
When August 1, 2012 rolls around (very soon now!), you will be able to purchase the Cannery Set Framelits Dies and the Perfectly Perserved stamp set as a bundle and save a bundle. Okay, 15% might not be considered a bundle of savings, but it does save $6.95 on the clear-mount or $8.95 on the wood-mount if purchase separately. Nice!

What hand stamped projects can you cook up with the Perfectly Perserved stamp set? It also includes an ear of corn (and Framelit to die-cut it), a pear (and Framelit to die-cut it) cherries, another flower, fabric lid (and Framelit to die-cut it), the long stem you see on my hand-stamped card, apples (and Framleit to die-cut it), just for you banner (and Framelit to die-cut it), two stems with leaves and a thank you that can be punched out with the Small Oval Punch.
Sorry that I cannot link to any of the Holiday Catalog yet. But, come back on August 1 and I will have the 2012 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog posted online.
