The gingham pattern on the Orchard Harvest Designer Series Paper and the canning jar certainly can bring some country charm to your hand made cards.
Can't you just smell the apples sprinkled with cinnamon cooking on the stove top filling the house with its delicious aroma? While we probably would not perserve full apples in a canning jar, the image of the full apples is certainly more appealing for card making than a jar full of applesauce.
The apples were not hand cut to the near perfect border because I have the coordinating Cannery Set Framelits Dies to die-cut the stamped images in my Sizzix Big Shot Die-Cut Machine. Die-cutting is not just attrative, it saves a lot of time!

The apple theme was carried through from beginning to end. Did you notice it stamped on the lower left size of the envelope in the first picture? You also see it stamped in the lower left corner of the inside of my card. Simply a nice, finishing touch.
