It is 110 degrees and I purchased hand made winter mittens. Has the heat gone to my head? You won't think so when you see the cashmere mittens I ordered from Godby With Us Stamper BONNIE PURCEY.
My mittens are even softer then they look! They also feel marvelous inside too. Bonnie does beautiful work. Did you notice the Stampin' Up! touch Bonnie added?
She uses the Fun Flowers Bigz L Die to die-cut a couple of flowers to decorate her handmade mittens. Do you like the black flowers on the black mittens? I love color on color, meaning the same color stamped or layered onto the same color. It really tends to give an elegant look. My winter jacket is a deep red with black trim. The luxurious mittens will be perfect with it!
The die-cut flowers are a sturdy felt. The Fun Flowers Bigz Die cut neatly and cleanly through it like butter. If you didn't recognize the exclusive die, you would have thought Bonnie purchased the die-cut felt flowers.
The Originals and Bigz Dies are designed to be able to cut through much heavier materials than just card stock or paper that only the Sizzlits, Embosslits and Framelits are able to do.
Would you like to see more mittens handmade by Bonnie? She has quite a few available to purchase in her online Hand Made in Michigan site http://mi-made.com/showportfolio.php?artistid=217 Best wishes trying to pick a favorite pair! She has so many different ones, each prettier than the next, to choose from. Thankfully the color of your winter coat will help narrow down the selections.
Would you do me a favor? When you order a pair of mittens from Bonnie, send her a message letting her know I sent you. Not because I will get anything in return. It would simply be fun to know.
