Stampin' Up! Serene Silhouettes and Sahara Sand Together? Yes, when paired with Raspberry Ripple and Basic Black.
Godby (God-be) With Us Stamper Sherrie Bryant designed this handmade 3" x 3" card. The color combination is eye-catching and out-of-the-norm. You could not stamp just any color on Sahara Sand and have it look good. Basic Black looks great! Basic Black truly makes the stamp look like a silhouette.
Did you see Sherrie hand cut all those little birds? Wow! The birds just pop off the page! It usually takes a combination of elements to create a great card. The card is not overly complicated. It is simply exquisite.
Sherrie stamped the entire image with the Basic Black Classic Stampin' Pad. She then stamped the image again with the Raspberry Ripple Classic Stampin' Pad on Sahara Sand Card Stock and cut them out. Did that take a little extra time? Absolutely. Was it worth it? Absolutely!
Inside Sherrie's 3" x 3" card is a coordinating piece of Sahara Sand. Not only does it give the card a finished look, it provides a lighter surface in which to write your message. She could have used Whisper White or Very Vanilla Card Stock; glad she didn't. Sahara Sand was the right choice.
