These leaves are off the grid with the Stampin' Up! Autumn Accents Bigz Die and Orchard Harvest Designer Series Paper.

Notice anything different about my die-cut leaves? Always love trying out new textures, my leaves are covered with drywall tape. How would you describe the texture? Rustic? Mesh? I will call it off-the-grid-pleasing.

Recognize the ribbon? It is not in the original form. It is the 7/8" Natural Cotton Ribbon from the 2012 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog. If it doesn't look like it is nearly an inch wide, it is because I cut it in half lengthwise. Love the look. But, for this card did not want the bulk. The bonus was how it frayed so nicely. Nice touch to my rustic handmade greeting card.

Keeping with the rustic/masculine theme, the zig zag Finishing Touches Edgelits Die supplied a nice border that wasn't lacy or too girly. Isn't it great to have options for a masculine card?

And, because you know I love coordination, an edging of texture from the drywall tape added to the bottom of the card. Don't you love how it ties it all together?

Speaking of bringing it all together, remember to stamp a leaf from the coordinating Wonderfall stamp set. The finishing touch will be to also stamp the envelope. Then the fun of the festive fall card will start as soon as it is taken out of the mailbox.
