When I purchased the Stampin' Up! Lovely Letters Alphabet, I knew it would make beautiful monogram notecards.   I did not think it would be good for scrapbook page titles.  Like many things, I was wrong.   You can judge for yourself with the All About Allison 12" x 12" scrapbook page.

Now that handmade monogram notecards have been mentioned, I happen to have a couple to show you with the Stampin' Up! Lovely Letters stamp set for my second to last day of the Stamping Smiles 25 Days of Retiring Stampin' Up! Stamp Sets posts.

The first is clean, simple and elegant.

Did I steer you wrong?  A set of personalized notecards would make, dare I say, a "lovely" gift.  With the Stampin' Up! Fan Fair Designer Series Paper and Lovely Letters Alphabet, it would be virtually impossible to come up with something that was not elegant.

Of course, some layering and added dimension sure help too.  The "S" was stamped on Very Vanilla Card Stock with Early Espresso Classic Stampin' Pad ink and punched with the 1" Square Punch.  It was then layered onto a piece of Very Vanilla Card Stock punched with the retiring Scallop Square Punch with some Stampin' Dimensionals.

Every beautiful handmade card needs an equally beautiful envelope.  The "S" from Lovely Letters Alphabet was stamped with Pink Pirouette Classic Stampin' Pad ink to coordinate with the Fan Fair Designer Series Paper.

If the other was too simple for you, here is a stepped up version with the same layout.

Still Fan Fair Designer Series Paper, Very Vanilla Card Stock for the letter punched with the 1" Square Punch and the retiring Scallop Square Punch.  The difference are a change of card stock colors for an added layer and the card base.

The card base is retiring Riding Hood Red Card Stock.  The layer on it is Pink Pirouette Card Stock embossed with the retiring Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder.

Add some Riding Hood Red Taffeta Ribbon for a great finishing touch.
