25 Days of Retiring Stampin' Up! Stamp Sets: Perfectly Preserved

The Stampin' Up! Perfectly Preserved stamp set was introduced in the 2012 Holiday Catalog with coordinating Orchard Harvest Designer Series Paper that most definitely lends itself to beautiful autumn cards. Look how quickly the Perfectly Preserved stamp set takes on a whole new season with a change of colors as the next of my 25 Days of Retiring Stampin' Up! Stamp Sets posts.

First, let me reassure you no butterflies were harmed in the making of this handmade greeting card. The cloth cover is allowing plenty of air for the cute little butterflies. 🙂

Where did those butterflies come from? They are just one of the 24 stamps in the also retiring Stampin' Up! Spring Sampler stamp set. With the adorable spring/summer stamps, this set is simply irresistible.

From this angle, my hope was you could see the shine of the die-cut Window Sheets (high quality acetate sheets) to give the look of a glass jar. Isn't cardmaking fun?!

The "just for you" banner stamp is included with in the Stampin' Up! Perfectly Preserved stamp set. It was die-cut with the coordinating Bitty Banners Framelits Dies. As I have written many times before, you just have to love how Stampin' Up! stamps and accessories are designed to coordinate.

So, let's address the colors. The cheerful Melon Mambo, Marina Mist, Lucky Limeade, Daffodil Delight and Pacific Point are used in the Stampin' Up! Sunshine & Sprinkles Designer Series Paper from the Spring Catalog. Like our Perfectly Preserved friend, Sunshine & Sprinkles will be retiring soon too.

But, even sooner than Perfectly Preserved. We only have through May 31, 2013 to order retiring products from the Spring Catalog. That includes the Melon Mambo 3/8" Striped Organdy Ribbon cover the seam between the striped and polka dot patterns of the Sunshine & Sprinkles Designer Series Paper.

Don't forget our little something something inside the card and on the envelope. A couple of the butterflies do the trick.
