Do you recall the birthday card I posted a week or so ago using Stampin’ Up! Epic Day This and That Designer Washi Tape (holy smokes that is a mouth full)? Well, I had a surprise birthday party to go to and decided to use a brown paper shopping bag to wrap by gift so it would coordinate with my Epic Day Washi Tape card.
Not bad. The Epic Day Washi Tape has distressed features to it lending itself well to the creases and crinkles of the brown paper bag wrapping.
What was not quite the coordination of colors I had hoped for was the Stampin’ Up! Crumb Cake Note Card Envelopes with the brown paper bag wrapping.
The saving grace is the Epic Day Washi Tape includes a Crumb Cake roll. That coordinates beautifully with my envelope also decorated with Washi Tape.
So, if you decide to do what I did, be sure the handmade card is attached to the gift for a presentation that looked quite deliberate and not a happy accident. 🙂
