The schedule had a lot of free time built into in on the second day, or so it seemed. Even though exhausted, sleep alluded me. So I fired up the laptop and followed up with customers and downline.
After breakfast I worked on my Founder’s Circle make ‘n takes using my new 2014 Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalog stamp set, Happy Watercolor. The first card also boasts several the Occasions Catalog accessories: Gold Fancy Foil Designer Vellum, Watercolor Designer Note Cards & Envelopes, Gold Sequin Trim, Gold Watercolor Baker’s Twine and Watercolor Wonder Designer Washi Tape. That, I believe, was every last sneak peek product we received on one card. When there is a will, there is a way. 🙂
The second card also uses the Happy Watercolor Stamp Set (2014 Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalog) and the also Occasions Catalog Ampersand Embossing Folder. Yes, that big and symbol is from the embossing folder. We embossed it then cut it out. It probably would have been a lot easier to cut out if it had been on plain paper.
That was all I managed to get done because when asked if I would like to go get some lunch, I was hungry and happy to go.
Time from after lunch to when the pajama party for the Founder’s Circle Swap that evening. One hundred and twenty registered for the swap. I asked how in the world could Stampin’ Up! see to it that we all swapped with every one. You should have seen the system! We lined up along the length of the hotel. The person in first of the line stepped out of line, swapped with the stamper next to her and continued down the line. The second stamper stepped out and swapped with the third in line and moved her way down the line. We all did that until we had all swapped. How slick was that?
When I returned to my room, another pillow gift was waiting for me. 🙂
How beautiful the packaging was. Inside was an endless scarf. It is not attractive to see it laying on the bed. It needs to be worn to be appreciated. After I get home I will have to model it and get Jim to take a picture of that.
A gal could certainly get used to being surrounded by people wanting to be sure you are having a great time and leaving gifts for her. Stampin’ Up! sure knows you to spoil you!
