With the new Stampin’ Up! Envelope Punch Board we can make 66 different size envelopes for our handmade cards. As I shared yesterday, this is fantastic so we can have properly sized envelopes that will make our cards look a lot more attractive. An envelope that is too large can look sloppy. And we have all seen an envelope that was night quite large enough so the flap cannot fold at the crease.
But, you need to know just because we can easily make properly sized envelopes for our handmade cards does not mean they can all be mailed through the United States Postal Service. The smallest size envelope you can mail is 3-1/2″ x 5″.
Did you see that rules on square envelopes? Those will cost us extra. Twenty cents extra to be exact (as of September 2013). We do not like paying extra, but it is worth it for a great looking card.
You will love the Envelope Punch Board. You just needed to know before you put a handmade card in the mail that there are postal regulations to minimum sizes. I want your card to get where you want it to go and no back in your mailbox.
Your Envelope Punch Board is waiting in my online store www.shopwithshelly.com to come home to live with you! Order your Envelope Punch Board now!
I will soon be posting a video of how to use the Envelope Punch Board. Hopefully tomorrow. So be sure to come back for a visit!
Please be sure to contact me if you have any questions.
