It is natural to think fall colors when get out your leaf stamp sets. This time I used my Color Coach to find colors that were not so fall-ish for a handmade card stamped with the Stampin’ Up! Gently Falling Stamp Set. The color combination is Elegant Eggplant, Island Indigo and Basic Gray.
Pretty than you thought? I don’t blame you, it sounded odd for leaves. Turns out the color combination is rather striking for the Gently Falling leaves.
The Basic Gray Classic Stampin’ Pad, like the Basic Black, is waterproof making it perfect for watercoloring. There are times you want a softer look for the image you wish to watercolor, and the Basic Gray pad fits the bill.
The soft purple card stock is Wisteria Wonder. It blends so well with the Elegant Eggplant/Island Indigo/Basic Gray combination.
