This is one of those clean and simple cards that draws the eye in. It was stamped into a collage card with the Stampin’ Up! Truly Grateful Stamp Set. Even the greeting is included in the fall stamp set from the 2013 Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog.
This is one of my favorite swaps from Founder’s Circle. Wish I had thought of it. Would have been a lot easier than stamping and punching 360 flowers like I did. 🙂
Have you ever made a collage card? It seems like it might be a bit intimidating, but it is quite easy to do especially with a stamp set like Truly Grateful. She started with stamping the woodgrain stamp with Crumb Cake Classic Stampin’ Pad ink on a 2-3/8″ x 3″ piece of Very Vanilla Card Stock. In Crumb Cake again, she stamped the cross cut wood circle a couple of times. You have to look to find them.
She may have stamped the acorn in Early Espresso Classic Stampin’ Pad ink next to make sure she had her focal point of the collage. The other stamped acorns were stamped without re-inking the stamp. You can tell because each one is a little lighter than the one before it.
The wheat stamp was then used as a filler with Cajun Craze Classic Stampin’ Pad ink. Again, the first one of the left was stamped and then the one on the right without reinking. That is a great way to get more than one shade with just one ink pad.
That collage piece was then layered onto a Crumb Cake Card Stock piece cut one quarter inch larger. Tied Early Espresso Baker’s Twine around it and into a bow for the finishing touch.
