The shine of silver for a Stampin' Up! Christmas Collectibles card

Quite a few of the Christmas card swaps I received used the Stampin’ Up! Glimmer Paper. You can see why it was so popular with this handmade Christmas card made with the Stampin’ Up! Christmas Collectibles Stamp Set

The artist of this card use small slivers of the Silver Glimmer Paper to frame the Christmas Collectibles ornament layer. She did a great job. She must be quite patient. While saving money is always a great goal, the time it would take to line up all the slivers would not be worth it to me. Do you have the patience to carefully line up small slivers?

The beautiful script of the Season’s Greetings stamp is from the Joy to the World Stamp Set. Like the Christmas Collectibles Stamp Set, it is from the 2013 Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog. As of today, November 26, 2013, we have not been told if either stamp set will be available after the catalog period ends on January 2, 2014.

What does that mean for you? If you like either of the Christmas stamp sets, even if your Christmas cards are done for this year, you will want to order before the sets are gone for good.
