Handmade Christmas card topped with a bow

How simply adorable is this handmade Christmas card?  One big Christmas gift topped with a big bow.  This idea would be make for a cute gift card holder.  Open the card and find your gift inside.  Hmm, really liking that idea.

The big bow?  Well, made with the Stampin’ Up! Gift Bow Bigz Die.   Making paper bows with the bow die is easy.  Still wanting to try making bows with wrapping paper.  You can purchase the package of different but coordinating patterns.  Much like Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper.  A coordinating bow for the package would be beautiful.

Did someone mention Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper?  The striped pattern for the gift is another limited-edition product from the 2013 Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog.  It is the Season of Style Designer Series Paper with patterns that are not specifically Christmas patterns.  That makes the pretty papers much more versatile.

If you make a card just like this handmade Christmas card, you will want to take great care in lining up the stripes like the artist of this swap card did.  Stripes going in different directions could make someone a bit woozy. 🙂
