For six months I participated in a business development program from Stampin’ Up! Every two weeks I would have a call with my person. Half way through, my gal changed departments and was told someone else would be assigned to me. On the first call with Tanner Smedley, I teased that he needed to sharpen his stamping skills. My first lady sent me a handmade card congratulating me on earning Founder’s Circle. He said he was up for the challenge.
He certainly was. A week or so ago, he sent me a card he made with the Stampin’ Up! Lovely Romance Stamp Set for hitting a new sales milestone.
It is a little hard to read the white wording on the Crumb Cake card stock. It reads “I think you are Amazing. Just wanna let you know.” It’s true. Nice of him to notice. (I crack myself up!). That pretty stamp is one of five ornate stamps from the Lovely Romance Stamp Set. After stamping it, Tanner die-cut it with the coordinating Chalk Talk Framelits Die.
Also die-cut are the pieces behind the wording. Both were die-cut with the Labels Collection Framelits Dies. His colors are Pool Party and Basic Gray Card Stock. The finishing touches are a strip of Epic Day This and That Designer Washi Tape and Whisper White Baker’s Twine.
I did wonder if his color choices were from the Color Coach. Instead, I believe, he took his colors from the Epic Day This and That line of products. The Designer Series Papers are another good resource for finding color combinations.
