Another Stampin' Up! Twisty Treats Kit polka dot bag card

Had so much fun making a card using the polka dot bag from the Stampin’ Up! Sale-a-bration Twisty Treats Kit , I just had to make another. If you missed the card with the video tutorial, you can see my polka dot Crazy, Mixed Up Love card now.

This time I wanted the white polka dots to be more prominent over the stamped image. To accomplish that, I chose the Stampin’ Up! Secret Garden Stamp Set.

So simple, yet so sweet. Mission accomplished in the polka dots being much more prominent. Even against the light Pink Pirouette ink. The other Classic Stampin’ Pad colors are Melon Mambo, Smoky Slate and Pear Pizzazz.

You might be thinking Smoky Slate for a flower? Before the final design was completed, like my Crazy, Mixed-Up Love card, I had planned to use a touch of Basic Black Card Stock. I also thought the twist ties were Smoky Slate. Since then, I have come to realize they are more likely Sahara Sand. We are going to call it close enough. 🙂

That twist tie also from the Twisty Treats Kit stunned my girlfriend. She could hardly get over they could so easily be used for a border. And, such a cute border, at that. Would we call this mixed media?
