My friend and her daughter, the bride-to-be, came by today for the bride to make a final determination of the colors for her wedding invitations.   She is having a country girl wedding, cowboy boots and all.   The bride-to-be, let’s call her Allison (because that is her name and will be easy for me to remember) chose Tempting Turquoise and Early Espresso for the wedding invitations.

With the design pretty well set, our attention turned to a discussion about the response cards. Allison had spotted a card I made with the Happy Day Stamp Set and fell in love with the doily-like stamp.  Her idea was to use it on the reply cards.  We stamped a border along the bottom of a Whisper White Note Card.  It was pretty.  She then thought she would like RSVP on the front.   We settled for the You’re Invited from the Oh, Hello Stamp Set.  It looked nice.  THEN I had what I like to call a flash of brilliance (modest, huh?)  We could make a beautiful wedding day stamp with the new Circle Monogram Personalized Stamp!  And still use the doily-like stamp she loved.  Here is the clean and simple wedding response card mock-up.

The Tempting Turquoise ink was stamped on scrap paper three times before stamping on the Whisper White Note Card.  My Circle Monogram Personalized Stamp was stamped in the center in Early Espresso Classic Stampin’ Pad ink.  Clean.  Simple. Elegant.  We all loved it.

To tie it into the wedding card, we will use it for a seal on the envelope.  Smart, don’t you think?  To continue the theme, the Circle Monogram Stamp will be used on the thank you cards too.  That has not yet been designed.  One of them also said the personalized stamp could be used on the wedding favors.  Love the idea (you know how I love coordination), but where we are going with that, I do not know.   Look at all the mileage we will be getting out of one stamp!  Certainly makes the $23.95 price tag worth every penny and much, much more.

Now all Allison has to do is make the final design decision on the personalized wedding stamp.  That is all that is holding up getting the order placed so my friend, Allison’s mother, can get started making the invitations and reply cards.  October will sneak up on us quickly.
