Someone at Stampin’ Up! must have an insurance policy that will pay off big when they finally drive me over the edge. Here’s the latest installment of how Stampin’ Up! is driving me crazy with the Holiday Carryover List.
Saturday I was talking with a stamping friend who wants to purchase the Christmas Collectible Stamp Set and Christmas Ornament Punch. Great! It’s available through August 27.
She could not find it under the Online Only category. I was happy to inform her that Stampin’ Up! did away with listing stamps in subcategories. Thank goodness! This is my job, and I had a hard time remembering if a stamp was in the Bold & Beautiful, Step Outside or just what category. It was a bit maddening. Was grateful for all of my online customers who successfully navigated their way through.
Now all the stamps are listed as clear mount, wood mount, photopolymer and a couple more self explanatory categories. Love it! This will save a lot of time. I tell my friend the Christmas Collectibles Stamp Set is listed with all the other stamp sets. I went to my online store to get the bundle item number for her. It wasn’t there.
Found Christmas Collectibles in the stamps. So, I looked for the Christmas Ornament Punch in the Punches category. Not there. Have another look at the Holiday Catalog Carryover List I saved to make sure I hadn’t dreamt it. Yep, it was there. With the catalog transition, it must have been overlooked. It’s happened before. A call will be made first thing Monday morning.
With the change on June 4 to the Holiday Catalog Carryover List products date changed to be available only through August 27, 2014, I did not understand what I was readying to mean unless sold out first. Until the call this morning. Sigh.
Stampin’ Up! did not announce the Christmas Ornament Punch had sold out. I honestly do not think I will be checking on a regular basis to see if something has to update you. If you want anything from the Holiday Catalog Carryover List, you’ll want to purchase it now in my online store www.shopwithshelly.com. It may or may not be available through August 27. Here’s the latest list published.
I am designing a handmade Christmas card using the Festive Flurry Stamp Set and Framelits. I’ll make a video tutorial to share soon. Unless it sells out first. If someone has a “When will Shelly lose it?” board, I’d like to buy a couple of squares. 🙂
