Today I have a sneak peek with a handmade Christmas card using the new Bright & Beautiful Stamp Set. My clean and simple Christmas card in silver and white certainly qualifies for a quick, clean and classy card.
The silver stars, they aren’t at all silver. They were embossed with Smoky Slate Stampin’ Emboss Powder. Smoky Slate is soft yet still stands out well against the Whisper White. Works very well when you want the look of a matte silver.
Didn’t I do a great job cutting out the stars? A perfect border all around. Okay, I fess up. I didn’t cut them by hand. The Bright & Beautiful Stamp Set coordinates with the Stars Framelits Dies. With a little help from my Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine applying 3000 pounds of pressure, the stars were cut out perfectly in a matter of seconds.

All three stars in the Bright & Beautiful Stars Stamp Set have the same pretty pattern that grows as the stars get larger. Isn’t that a great look? Separating and giving definition to the three layers of stars are Stampin’ Dimensionals. It never ceases to amaze me how those little foam self-adhesive dots enhance a handmade card.
The coordination continuity provided by the pattern of the stars continued with the “Wishing you a Bright & Beautiful . . .” greeting included in the stars stamp set. To keep the look of the card seamless, the Christmas greeting was also embossed with Smoky Slate Stampin’ Emboss Powder.
