Such a pretty (Stampin' Up!) Work of Art, I had to copy!

Changed the colors of a card a friend received in a swap using the Stampin’ Up! Work of Art and Everything Eleanor Stamp Sets. So pretty that I just had to copy it. Lower in the post I’ll show you the original card from the swap.

The card is as easy to make as it is pretty. Start by stamping the flourish from the Everything Eleanor Stamp Set with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Next I stamped the large paintbrush mark with Hello Honey Classic Stampin’ Pad ink from the Work of Art Stamp Set. This helped my placement of the three small brushmarks of the three different greens.

But, are the greens different colors? They are all Mossy Meadow. Three pictures to show you how.

Three different shades of the same color. Besides a cool look, think of the ink you’ll save. And time cleaning the stamp. 🙂

The Work of Art and Everything Eleanor swap card.

The colors are Tangelo Twist and Blackberry Bliss. The handmade cards use four of the five 2014-2015 In Colors. Lost Lagoon is the only one not to make the cut. The card is stunning. So pretty I had to copy. The Hello Honey/Mossy Meadow combination is more subtle. It’s fun to see the card in vibrant colors and then the more subdued colors.
