Stampin' Up! Ornamental Pine CardEveryone was crazy for this absolutely gorgeous Stampin’ Up! Ornamental Pine card at Founder’s Circle.  My friend Cynthia Millan designed it.  As she finished putting them together on our first day, she kept telling everyone that it is such a simple card.  After you finally stop marveling at it, it truly is easy to make.

If you look closely, you can see she stamped the pine needles with Mossy Meadow Classic Stampin’ Pad ink and the straight part of the branch with Early Espresso Classic Stampin’ Pad ink.  What she didn’t do was ink the branches in brown up to the needles.  And it just doesn’t matter one tiny bit.  The card is so breathtaking that no one will notice.  I only did when looking carefully to tell you how to make her Christmas card.  Makes me love it even more because it’ll be easy for you to make.

Stamp the pinecone stamp four times and Christmas Wishes with Early Espresso ink.  The base of the card and layer are both Naturals Ivory Cardstock.  The choice of cardstock gave her card a country, earthy look.  Then came the sponging.

Oh, the sponging.  Cynthia had posted on our Facebook page before our trip that her fingers were brown, very brown.  She sponged around the full front of the card base and all four edges of the layer with much heavier sponging on each corner.  We all appreciate her brown fingers. 🙂

After the stamping and sponging is all done, press a VersaMark Ink Pad over the entire surface.  Sprinkle on Iridescent Ice Stampin’ Emboss Powder making sure the card front is fully covered.  Melt the embossing powder with the Heat Tool.  And then look at all that sparkle!  Attach to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  That’s all there is to this gorgeous Christmas card.
