This Stampin’ Up! Bright & Beautiful card is probably the prettiest shaker card I’ve ever seen. Shaker cards are always fun and usually cute. The cardmaker from the Founder’s Circle swap did an excellent job making a beautiful Christmas card.
The Shaker Frames have made it so easy to make a shaker card. Before the self-adhesive foam circles, we had to use Stampin’ Dimensionals. That was a lot of placing, peeling and stacking around the circle. Now peel and stick just once.
The circle is filled with Frosted Sequins and Dazzling Diamonds Glitter. Pretty, pretty.
The rays of the star are made of the Lost Lagoon Satin Stitched Ribbon, Be Merry from the Holiday Invitation Stamp Set, Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper and Silver Glimmer Paper. Pretty, pretty.
The star stamp from the Bright & Beautiful Stamp Set was embossed with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder on Brushed Silver Cardstock.
The embossed star was then die-cut with the coordinating Stars Framelits Dies and with the Circles Collection Framelits to make the circular hole in the center. Surely she saved time by doing the two at the same time. Wonder if she saved all the circles for another project? Sure they were too pretty to throw away.
Many of the products for the beautiful Bright & Beautiful Shaker card are from the Holiday Catalog. This makes them available only for a limited time, through January 5, 2015.
