Last week the new Stampin’ Up! Banner Blessings Stamp Set with four Bible verses was released. Could hardly wait to play when my new stamp set was delivered. And an opportunity to try the Blendabilities Markers with one of the Classic Stampin’ Pad colors Stampin’ Up! has approved can be used with smearing with the Blendabilities. Time to mix it up and use something other than the Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad! Lower in the post you can view and download the Blendabilites Stampin’ Pad Compatibility List.
Shine was stamped with Always Artichoke Classic Stampin’ Pad ink. It is recommended you let the ink dry completely before coloring with the Blendabilities. I used the Dark Daffodil Delight Blendabilities marker to fill in the lined areas of the letters.
That was followed up by tracing around the letters with the Light Daffodil Delight Blendabilities Marker. It makes the word “Shine” look like it’s shining.
The banner was colored first with the Light Coastal Cabana Blendabilities Marker. Then the Medium was used to add shading. Every time I color with the Blendabilities I marvel at the how easy it is to shade and the beautiful results. And all without warped cardstock as we can get when watercoloring.

The embossed stars where made with the Lucky Stars Embossing Folder from the 2014 Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog. It’s a folder that can easily be used for Christmas and all year long. What we don’t yet know is if it will be made available after the Holiday Catalog ends on January 5, 2015. It’s much more likely to not be than to carry over because so few products from the Holiday Catalog ever do.
